Basalt
This is not an album. It’s from a radio broadcast, recorded by the Danish National Radio from a concert at Glassalen in Tivoli at Copenhagen Jazz festival 2003. Here are teasers from some of the songs played at the concert.

The band I put together for the occasion is:

The band hasn’t met since then.
With the music for this band, I tried, building on experiences from Overdrive and Sound Of Choice both, to create a big sound with a small outfit. All instruments (apart from the drums) can play melodies, all can play bass lines, and I use them all in every conceivable way, in four part harmony or doubling each other. I hope to, some day, record some of this music. Some of it is great, I think.
